Music

Music and music activities are important in the preschool curriculum for several reasons. Music is fun. Music can assist in the formation of concepts. Music invites active participation, and music can nurture feelings of personal worth.

In addition to participating in music activities in the classroom everyday the 2 year olds through Pre kindergarten classes participate in a special music time in the sanctuary with Ms. Elva twice a week on Thursdays and Fridays.

During this time the children learn Bible songs, songs of the season, hand motions and they also spend time preparing for special musical programs for parents.
