School Age

What a privilege we have as caregivers to teach the love of Christ to school age children. Through love, kindness, and nurturing we have a unique opportunity to show Christ's love during our After-School program while also helping them with homework assignments and building healthy relationships.

Your Child Will Need

Please make sure that your child has:

• Enrollment paperwork completed
• School year: Homework that need to be completed
• Cold weather: Hat, gloves and coat/jacket
• Summer: Sunscreen, swimsuit, towel, and water shoes
• A positive attitude

Please label everything with your child's name!!

Centers and Activities

	Art Art is a place for children to show their most creative, artistic side. It is filled with materials that will inspire children to create masterpieces.
	Homework/Educational This is a space for homework and other forms of educational enrichment including word games, science projects and brain teasers.
	Outdoor Play School age children need to be able to run, play and burn off energy so we make sure that they get time outside to do just that.
	Chill Zone School age children need some time to stop and "chill" after a day at school. This is a comfortable place for relaxation and relating to friends.
	Board Games The board games area contains games that interest the children and several places for these games to be played. Children take responsibility for caring for the games.
	Books/Library Books are as important to school-age children as they are to preschool children. This is a quiet area for children to look at a variety of books and age appropriate magazines.
